This report maps and analyzes the existing legal and regulatory framework in seven Spanish-speaking countries of Central America and the Caribbean regarding the governance of digital platforms, evaluating their alignment with the UNESCO Guidelines for the Governance of Digital Platforms. It also includes a summary of discussions and conclusions from regional UNESCO Workshops attended by authorities and civil society representatives from seven countries in the region. All of this serves to, in the conclusions section, chart a roadmap for action based on the priorities identified in the region.
